Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a little sparrow. She was tiny, with soft brown wings and a bright little eye. Every morning, she flew around the fields, looking for food and singing sweet songs. One hot summer day, the sparrow felt very thirsty. She looked everywhere for water, but the ponds were dry, and the river was far away. At last, she found a small pot in front of a farmer’s house. But oh! The pot had only a little water at the bottom. The sparrow tried to reach it, but her beak was too short. She thought for a while and then smiled, “I must be clever, not just strong.” She looked around and found some small pebbles. One by one, she dropped the pebbles into the pot. Slowly, the water rose higher and higher. At last, the sparrow could drink the cool water happily. She chirped joyfully and flew away, singing, “Wisdom is stronger than wings. Cleverness can solve anything!”
